Grupo Niche is one of the most iconic salsa bands in Latin America, celebrated for their rich melodies, lyrical depth, and unmistakable Colombian sound.
Founded in 1980 by composer and arranger Jairo Varela, the band helped put Colombian salsa on the global map — not through flashy gimmicks, but through soulful songwriting, polished arrangements, and a melodic approach to the clave.
