This section features full transcriptions of their most iconic songs, including arrangements from the legendary Tirso Duarte era, who introduced a new level of harmonic depth and rhythmic innovation to the genre. Tirso’s piano tumbaos blend jazz harmony with classical technique, featuring cluster voicings, mixed gestures and contrapuntal motion, crafted with a level of sophistication indicative of a musical mind that was far ahead of its time.
